EyeCall, running on Nokia 3G handsets, would have to be up there as one of the most useless apps ever developed for a mobile device. Even the name has nothing to do with what it does.
The application enables the user to silence an incoming call and send a auto-text response without even looking at their mobile. The application capatilises on the touch capability of new Nokia devices to pre-configure gestures to silence incoming calls and send a pre-made text message.
The application is obviously aimed at people who are either really stupid or really lazy and need to silence their phone quickly and tell their friends they can’t answer at the moment. I personally can’t see it being popular with anyone.
